April 30, 1997 The Northwest Pacific Region Environmental Cooperation Center was established as a non-profit organization.
The office was located at 7-18 Azumi-cho, Toyama city.
June 13, 1998 The promoter's meeting of the Northwest Pacific Region Environmental Cooperation Center (NPEC) was held.
September 1, 1998 The Northwest Pacific Region Environmental Cooperation Center (NPECjwas approved as a legally incorporated foundation under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Environment.
April 7, 1999 The Northwest Pacific Region Environmental Cooperation Center(NPEC) was designated as CEARAC (Special Monitoring and Coastal Environmental Assessment Regional Activity Center) at the 4th NOWPAP(Northwest Pacific Action Plan)Intergovernmental Meeting.
September 1, 2001 The office was moved to 5-5 Ushijimashin-machi,Toyama city.
